Research Disclaimer: JaySense is a stock research platform for informational and educational purposes only. 1. Information We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text).
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session metadata for product improvement.
Brokerage connection: If you connect an Upstox account, we store an access token provided by Upstox to fetch market data on your behalf. We do not store your brokerage password.
Journal & portfolio entries: Trade records, notes, and watchlists you create on the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the JaySense platform.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, alerts you opt into).
To analyse aggregate usage patterns — never sold to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) strictly necessary to operate the platform, under confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (ASP.NET Core Identity). Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. We use TLS for all data in transit.

5. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by emailing support@jaysense.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at support@jaysense.com.

8. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address any concerns or complaints regarding the processing of your personal data.
