Risk Disclosure Statement
Effective: 1 July 2026 | JaySense Research & Analytics Platform
JaySense recommends that all users read and understand the following risk factors before using our research platform.
1. Market Risk
Stock prices can and do fall. Markets can be volatile, and the value of your investments may decline significantly — including to zero. Research scores and signals do not protect against market downturns.
2. Liquidity Risk
Some stocks may have low trading volumes, making it difficult to buy or sell at desired prices. JaySense research scores do not account for liquidity conditions at the time of your trade.
3. Model Risk
JaySense uses quantitative models to generate research scores. All models have limitations and may perform differently in varying market conditions. A high Research Score does not guarantee positive returns. The score reflects alignment with the model's criteria, not a prediction of price movement.
4. Data Risk
Research outputs depend on the quality and timeliness of underlying data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect due to third-party data providers. Stale or missing data can affect score accuracy.
5. Regulatory Risk
Securities regulations in India and globally can change rapidly. SEBI may impose new rules, trading halts, circuit breakers, or restrictions on specific securities that may affect your positions.
6. Concentration Risk
Investing heavily in a small number of stocks increases risk. JaySense research tools do not constitute portfolio management advice. Diversification decisions remain entirely with you.
7. Technology Risk
JaySense is a technology platform. System outages, network failures, software bugs, or data feed interruptions can occur and may affect the availability or accuracy of research outputs.
8. Past Performance
Past performance of any research signal, score band, or strategy does not guarantee future results. Backtests and historical analyses are based on historical data and may not reflect future market conditions.
9. Leverage & Derivatives
JaySense does not support or endorse the use of leverage or derivatives. If you trade F&O or use margin, you accept significantly higher risk than equity investing. JaySense research is not designed for leveraged trading strategies.
10. Seek Professional Advice
If you are uncertain about any investment decision, please consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser (IA) or SEBI-registered research analyst (RA) who is legally authorised to provide personalised investment advice in India.
