SEBI Disclaimer & Data Sources
Full regulatory disclaimer for JaySense, including data sourcing transparency and the
platform's limitations as a quantitative research tool.
Important Regulatory Notice
JaySense is NOT registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an
Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013.
Nothing on this platform — including JayScore values, research signals, Research Candidate flags,
swing setup indicators, morning plans, or any other output — constitutes investment advice,
a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any investment.
Investments in securities markets are subject to market risks. Read all related documents
carefully before investing. Past performance of any score, signal, or analytical output is not
indicative of future results and does not guarantee returns.
What JaySense is
JaySense is a quantitative research tool for NSE-listed stocks. It automates the
collection, processing, and presentation of publicly available market data into a structured
research score and signal system.
Its outputs are data summaries, not personalised advice. The platform applies the same
algorithmic model to every stock — it does not know your financial situation, risk tolerance,
investment horizon, or goals. These factors are essential inputs for any actual investment decision
and must be assessed by you, or by a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser.
Data sources
Price data
Yahoo Finance API (daily OHLCV for NSE stocks via .NS suffix). Used for historical price history and technical indicator computation.
Live prices
Upstox (via registered developer API) for real-time LTP during market hours. Yahoo Finance as fallback when Upstox is unavailable.
FII / DII data
NSE India and BSE India daily provisional institutional flow data, ingested after market close.
Fundamentals
Publicly available quarterly results, shareholding patterns, and financial ratios from NSE/BSE filings.
Corporate actions
NSE corporate action calendar (dividends, splits, rights, bonus) via NSE public API.
Sector classification
NSE sector and industry groupings as published by NSE India.
Macro data
RBI for repo rate and CPI. Currency data for USD/INR from public sources.
Market news
Public RSS feeds from NSE and financial news sources. AI extraction is used to classify news events — this is experimental and subject to errors.
Platform limitations
- Scores are computed overnight from end-of-day data. They do not reflect intraday developments.
- Data sourced from Yahoo Finance may be subject to delays, adjustments, or errors that affect score accuracy.
- The scoring model is trained on historical data. Market conditions change — the model may be less accurate in novel market environments.
- Small-cap and illiquid stocks may have insufficient data for reliable scoring. JaySense focuses on Nifty 50 and Nifty 100 stocks for its primary features.
- Corporate actions (splits, bonuses) can temporarily distort price-derived signals. JaySense does not guarantee adjustment accuracy in all cases.
- AI-generated content on the platform (news summaries, event classification) is experimental and may contain errors. Do not rely on it for investment decisions.
